Our Membership Tiers

There are 4 member-types. Any legal entities who meet the following criteria can apply for membership.

Principal Member

Corporation who meets all of the following criteria's:

  • Has its own IP traffic to Peer
  • Is a Telecommunication license holder issued by PTD*
  • Peers and traffic exchange with at least one other member over public peering LAN (Not counting private peering and remote peering)

* PTD - Posts and Telecommunications Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Republic of the Union of Myanmar

Institutional Member

Corporation who meets all of the following criteria's:

  • Has its own IP Traffic to Peer
  • Peers and traffic exchange with at least one other Member

Associate Member

Person or Corporation who meets all the following criteria's:

  • Is involved in the IP and Networking industry
  • Likes to actively participate and support MMIX Activities

Affiliate Member

Person or Organization or Corporation who meets all of the following criteria's:

  • Will benefit MMIX
  • Resolved by the EC Council to be a member of the Association

Application Process

1. Review Requirements

Ensure your organization meets the criteria for your desired membership category.

2. Prepare Documents

Gather all necessary documentation including legal entity proof and network information.

3. Submit Application

Complete the membership application form and submit it to MMIX for review.

Typical processing time is 2-4 weeks after complete submission of all required documents.
